Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Thistle Learning Group is looking for a Senior Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on learning materials with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
