Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in New Orleans. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
