Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Drift Health Partners and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on insurance authorisations with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
