Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Kansas City, MO)

Stonegate West Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Kansas City with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
