Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Kansas City, MO)

Rivermark Willow Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on premium billing with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
