Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight West Care Services provides in-home and community support in Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on visit scheduling with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
