Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Indianapolis, IN)

Rivermark Basin Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Indianapolis, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on fare systems with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
