Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Birch Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on fare systems with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
