Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Amber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Support work on student accounts with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
