Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Columbus, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 356 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
