Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Cincinnati, OH)

Ironwood Wilder Insurance Partners is an insurance company in Cincinnati with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on catastrophe response with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
