Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Pike Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Buffalo, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 952 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Support work on policy renewals with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
