Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Boise, ID)

Lumen West Care Services supports families and individuals in Boise with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Boise. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on care plans with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
