Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Juniper Health and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on clinic supplies with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
