Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Care Services and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Support work on care plans with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
