Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

Lumen Haven Learning Group is looking for a Senior Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 592 people based in Austin. What you will do • Support work on student accounts with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
