Senior Registered Nurse - occupational health (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Hollow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for mid-sized cities, and about 300 of us spend our days in depots, on platforms and out on survey routes. We are hiring a senior registered nurse to run our on-site occupational health room in Rochester. What you will do • Run the health room at the main depot: injury triage, blood-pressure and vision checks, fit-for-duty follow-ups after time off. • Coordinate return-to-work plans with supervisors and outside clinics so nobody is rushed back or left in limbo. • Deliver short safety talks on heat, cold and repetitive strain before each season starts. What we are looking for • Active New York RN licence and at least five years in urgent care, occupational health or a similar setting. • Calm judgement with drivers and field crews who often do not want to stop working. This is a full-time, on-site role. Most weeks run Monday to Friday, with a rotating early start once a month.
