Senior Registered Nurse - occupational health (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Hartford serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on occupational health. Families are partners. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
