Senior Registered Nurse - clinic nursing (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Loom Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Austin area. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on clinic nursing. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Austin. What you will do • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
