Senior Registered Nurse - care coordination (Kansas City, MO)

Cedar Ember Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Kansas City, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our care coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
