Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Vista Staffing is looking for a Senior Recruiter. The job centres on technical hiring for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 484 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to retention. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on retention. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
