Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Seattle, WA)

Fernwood Nest Community Partners is a Seattle charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
