Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Stone Freight is a San Diego logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to claims. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on claims. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
