Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Rochester, NY)

Summit Ridge Early Learning runs childcare centres in Rochester caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to meal programmes. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
