Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Richmond, VA)

Lumen Beacon Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Richmond, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to waiting lists. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on waiting lists. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
