Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (remote)

Fernwood Umber Inspection Services is an inspection company in Indianapolis with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of about 521 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to test reports. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
