Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Loom Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Jackson, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to catastrophe response. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
