Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Kestrel Community Partners runs community programmes across Houston, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to grant reporting. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
