Senior Recruiter - technical hiring (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Labs is a nonprofit in Chicago supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to donor records. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on donor records. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
