Senior Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Detroit, MI)

Nova Vista Community Partners is a Detroit charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Recruiter to take on hourly and shift hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to donor records. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
