Senior Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

Bright Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Reno area. We are hiring a Senior Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for capital projects. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
