Senior Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Union Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Des Moines plant, and we need a Senior Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for ingredient orders. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
