Senior Quality Inspector - final inspection (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Vista Water Authority is looking for a Senior Quality Inspector. The job centres on final inspection for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for meter reading. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
