Senior Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Summit Manufacturing makes precision components in San Jose, and we need a Senior Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
