Senior Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (remote)

Westbrook Umber Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Kansas City, and we need a Senior Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scheduling. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
