Senior Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Granite Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Quality Inspector. The job centres on documentation and audits for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Providence. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
