Senior Quality Inspector - documentation and audits (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Lantern Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Kansas City plant, and we need a Senior Quality Inspector to lead our documentation and audits. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for scrap and rework. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
