Senior Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ashton Foods and adding a Senior Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be corrective actions. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for allergen controls. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
