Senior Quality Inspector - corrective actions (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Mill Foods is looking for a Senior Quality Inspector. The job centres on corrective actions for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for cold storage. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
