Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Wichita, KS)

Ironwood Fern Farms Group is an agricultural business based around Wichita, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
