Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Juniper Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Wichita plant. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
