Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Quarry Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Virginia Beach region. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
