Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Pike Pharma develops and makes medicines in San Jose. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to regulatory filings at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support regulatory filings. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
