Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Yarrow Foods Associates is a Rochester food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
