Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Bluepeak Orchard Freight is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
