Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Silverline Freight is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
