Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Silverline Lantern Early Learning runs childcare centres in San Jose caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 556 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
