Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Foxglove Stone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 269 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
