Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Foxglove Quill Foods is a Rochester food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
