Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Amberfield Mill Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
